Job Description
We are currently partnered with a respected law firm seeking an
IT Specialist. This role is responsible for establishing, managing, and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, including all systems and technology assets. This role ensures the smooth operation of all technological systems and provides comprehensive IT support to staff, including desktop assistance. The ideal candidate is proactive, knowledgeable, and versatile, capable of managing multiple tasks independently while delivering effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency and security. Key Responsibilities - Set up, manage, and maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
- Provide first-line support for IT-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems for end-users, including desktop support.
- Implement and oversee security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for procurement and maintenance of IT equipment and services.
- Manage IT inventory and ensure regular maintenance of all equipment.
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, including data backup, disaster recovery, and information security protocols.
- Train staff on new technologies and IT security best practices.
- Stay current with the latest IT trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
- Plan and execute IT projects aimed at system enhancements and new implementations.
- Assist with onboarding new employees by integrating IT systems and setting up workstations.
- Provide regular reports on IT usage, issues, and resolutions to management.
Qualifications - Ability to work on-site (Vista, CA).
- High proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong communication skills to explain complex technical information clearly in both languages.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven IT experience, preferably in a professional or office environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, network administration, and hardware/software installation and configuration.
- Demonstrated expertise in data security and protection measures.
- Experience with industry-specific software applications is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Capability to explain technical concepts effectively to non-technical users.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data security standards.
Preferred Qualifications - Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
- Experience with cyber security practices relevant to professional environments.
- Bilingual in Spanish & English.
Compensation - $70,000 - $90,000 Annually.
