About the position:
· Outpatient-focused with optional newborn nursery rounding
· Four-day work week
· Optional participation in phone-only call schedule

Qualifications:
· Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification or eligibility
· New graduates and experienced practitioners are welcome to apply.
· Interest in procedures such as circumcisions and Nexplanon is highly valued.

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is the regional center for advanced pediatric care. Hospital services include a Level III NICU, PICU, mature pediatric sedation program, dedicated neonatal and pediatric critical care transport, and an inpatient pediatric hospitalist service. A broad spectrum of pediatric sub-specialists is available, including gastroenterology, neurology, cardiology, hospital medicine, endocrinology, genetics, developmental/behavioral psychology, hematology-oncology, surgery, and infectious disease. Some sub-specialists practice in the same building as our primary care clinic, making for seamless consultation.
