Location: Charlotte, NC (On-site – Must work from the office) Working Hours: Monday to Friday Salary Range: $51,240 - $58,790 per year Description As a Public Relations Associate, you will play a vital role in shaping and maintaining our organization's public image. This position is perfect for a motivated individual who is passionate about communication and media relations. You will work closely with the Public Relations Manager to develop and implement strategic communication plans that enhance our brand's visibility and reputation. Responsibilities:

• Draft press releases and other communications materials to promote the organization.
• Assist in the planning and execution of public relations campaigns and events.
• Build and maintain relationships with media representatives and influencers.
• Monitor media coverage and analyze public sentiment regarding the organization's activities.
• Help develop and maintain content for the organization's website and social media platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather information for story pitches and media inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and digital communication tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently as needed.
• Prior internship or work experience in public relations or communications is preferred.
