Job Title : Sourcing Manager, Diagnostics Direct Procurement

Primary Location : Tucson, AZ (split time between Marana site and Oro Valley site)
Mandatory to be on-site at least 3 days per week (Tuesday and Thursdays at Oro Valley Campus. Wednesday at Marana campus).

Duration : Until 10/12/2026



Ideal Candidate

• The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement (or purchasing).
• If the individual has worked in a regulated environment, or with lab chemicals, medical and clinical supplies or anything similar, that would be ideal.

Summary of Position

• Responsible for executing Direct Procurement Operations activities for Tissue Diagnostics, ensuring alignment with Category Management strategies.
• Focuses on supplier management, escalations, master data management, cost savings, and continuous improvement.
• University degree, with a business-related degree, preferably a post-graduate business qualification PLUS 3+ years of procurement experience with experience in basic contracting, business enterprise systems, and spot buying.
• Experience or demonstrated understanding in supporting cost reduction and value improvement programs.
• Experience in operational excellence or continuous improvement methodologies as well as experience in Life Sciences are a plus.
• Experience with enterprise systems and procure-to-pay tools and eSourcing tools is desired.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Understands and frequently uses quantitative and / or qualitative data to drive decisions. Identifies risks to support statements or hypotheses.
• Works independently to develop and implement a negotiation plan / strategy. May need assistance in leading complex or challenging negotiations.
• Good communication skills and demonstrated understanding of translating business requirements into procurement specifications with customer service in mind.
• Tailors messages and communications appropriately with limited supervision to ensure understanding.
• Contributes to meetings and team presentations/briefings and asks appropriate questions to gather information.
• Basic level of proficiency in business enterprise tools and understanding of the end-to-end procurement process.
