We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Stand-Up Forklift Operator with experience using handheld scanners to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for efficiently moving, scanning, and tracking inventory while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
MON - FRI 7/8AM - 4PM (WITH OT AS NEEDED)
Key Responsibilities
Operate Stand-Up Forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
Use Handheld Scanners to track inventory movement, verify shipments, and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
Perform Inventory Checks and assist with cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
Follow Safety Protocols including proper equipment handling, PPE usage, and adherence to OSHA standards.
Inspect Equipment daily and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
Collaborate with Team Members to meet shipping and receiving deadlines.
Maintain Clean Work Areas and follow warehouse organization standards.
Qualifications
1+ years of experience operating stand-up forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting.
Proficiency with handheld scanners and basic inventory systems.
Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with RF scanning systems or WMS platforms.
Familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures and documentation.
